Ground-Up Cottages, Built for Modern Portland Living

The South Tabor Cottages are new-construction detached homes built from the ground up in SE Portland, designed to make smart, efficient use of an infill lot while feeling bright, open, and anything but small.

Clean board-and-batten exteriors give the cottages a modern-farmhouse presence on the street. Inside, the open main floor flows from a light-filled living room through a dining area to a striking black-and-gold kitchen: matte-black shaker cabinetry, warm brass hardware, white quartz counters, and a stacked subway-tile backsplash. Wide-plank flooring runs throughout, and ductless mini-splits keep every room comfortable and efficient.

Upstairs, the bedrooms stay airy with vaulted ceilings and generous windows, and the baths bring in warmth with floating walnut-slat vanities and black fixtures. The result is a compact, high-design home that lives far larger than its footprint, designed and built entirely by our team.
